Just for the record, do you really believe that Trump believes in anything other than his wallet and how much attention is paid to him?
Of course not. Even his bank account is an extension of his ego.

But if I trusted that Obama really cared about controlling spending, I too would dismiss Trump's "offer" as another publicity stunt.

The problem is that I don't, especially after Obama went on full campaign mode months after his re-election and telling everyone just how bad sequestration would be.

Hence I can't see the closing of the White House tours as anything other than Obama playing politics. In that context, anything is fair game, including the actions of the star of that trashy reality show, "Celebrity Apprentice."
