Henry, I see them do that all the time with these micros. In fact they just finished doing it on ALAN yesterday. I am guessing ATEC will be a good buy somewhere around 3 1/8, but we will see. A good way to make money in these micros is to be aware of the point you make. Another way of saying the same thing is that when they want to buy a stock they will keep lowering the bid to spook the novices into selling and will keep this up until the novices run out. Then they sell them back to the same novices or another bunch of them on the way back up. Nasdaq is a dealer market , not an auction market, so price is not necessarily an indicator of demand.
