Last time I checked, most of my clothing was made in HK, Taiwan, and China. Last time I checked that was part of Asia. Last time I checked, the dollar was quite strong over there...hardly bad for margins.

Next time Archie checks, it might be a 30 dollar stock.

I'm long.

Henry, before you make a bigger fool of yourself, you may have already. Rowland and his wife sold 900,000 share in early Dec 1996. I am actually in the apparel sourcing business... you have your head in the clouds if you think the margins on apparel 50-65% come anywhere close to the 80+ accessories generates.Apparel usually nets about 45% How many company sell jean's, the market is very close in pricing , because really how much can you differentiate a denin item.
To make matters worst they are buying line items, items from a manufactuers line that he may have sold to Wet Seal, Urban outfitter,
hot topic... any of which could mark it down and kill your profit, maybe becasue they bought it in earlier. You don't have a clue...
Last year CLE announced a 1 mil share buyback when the stock tanked. Search the annual reportand called the information officer. they never did it. It was a crock to get support for the stock after the CEO sold his 900,000 and tank it.
By the way it cost about 12.75 to make a pair of jean's, add quota, duty, freight marketing.Wholsaler sells them to a retailer its about right. Hope this help, also suggest reading the newspaper instead of listening to the Evening news
