I did short with fidelity. The margin requirement I believe is 100% as opposed to 50% for Nasdaq stocks trading over $10. Some of the criteria I believe has to be with whether the stock is a BB stock, volume and market cap. Will check the details tomorrow.

Bill, here's a link to research I did on this subject prior to ALYD being upgraded to NASDAQ NMS that should answer all your questions as well as point you to material on the Fed's web site.

P.S. If you are one of those that goes solely on market cap, then just about any Y2K stock, including ALYD, should fit the Bill (gg). Just keep in mind that ALYD likes to think of itself as the "anti-ZITL", i.e. they don't hype (like we ALYD longs do) and they don't leak info or spread false hope.
