We are not seeing inflation by any metric. Housing prices in most metros are back to turn of century prices; indust. capacity ute. is still below 80%; the unemployment rate is at 7.7%. The only inflation is in your head. - tejek

Please see the proof below. Rental rates, which are more relevant to the 99% are rising rapidly. This is great for investors like John V. and the corporations getting into the act, but not so good for the 99% who have little cash or credit to get in on the action in a big way. It's always the 1% that benefits most from the government's largesse. This is the sad truth and why I don't like the government picking the winners. The markets do a better job of lifting all boats within the framework of stable prices and currencies.
