ok, pop quiz:
What percentage of the earth is covered with water?
A. 29%
B. 71%
C. 50%

What part of the earth stores the majority of the energy that drives the climate
A. Air
B. Water
C. Land

If you chose B for both answers, you are correct. Now, with both questions 1 & 2 being true, if there is warming in general and warming causes more evaporation, wouldn't that imply that there would be more moisture in the atmosphere and thus more rain?
