>>Yoy know it is a shame that I know which groups are strong for quite some time but I am very unfamilier wuth the individual stocks in those groups. In general anything defensive makes money now and will probably make money the next few months. Retails, foods, supermarkets, airlines vs. oils (pick one against the other), <<

I think you are right, Rudy. Pick strong groups, buy on dips, and watch carefully because something can go out of favor as fast as it comes into favor. But the advantage to some of these other sectors is that there is less worry about pre-warnings and domino effect as there is with the techs.

You are also right I think about picking the well known stocks. The market is being driven by the excess cash sitting with the big funds, and probably will continue that way for the next month. In strength or in weakness, it seems they continue to pump money into the blue chips. And when the good companies (such as Merck) hit the skids, the big institutions come quickly to the rescue (like they did today).

This is a scary market. Too many would've, could've, should'ves on my part. But I would think your TA is a tremendous advantage in this type of market.

And come to IRC.
