Bateman, that's exactly what they'll be saying in 30 years about him - who the hell is this Tom Kurlak? Even people in Kurlak's own field will be asking that question.

Wheras Thomas Pynchon is IMHO immortal.

Don't know if you caught Jim Cramer's comments on TK at thestreet.com, but he gave another "he's the best there is" response to someone who asked about TK.

He's entitled to his opinion, but it's just that - his opinion.

Sorry, but look at the following two very brief statements and you tell me which one more acurately describes the true essence, the spirit, the zeitgeist, if you will, of Kurlak's research over the past 8 months:

A. He's the best there is

OR

B. He don't use jelly

Now, I'm voting for B...of course I was the one who said it...but I'm trying to be as objective as possible <g>
