Thanks Mr Adrenaline. We are by no means down in the mouth. Like the British found in the Blitz, there is a curious good cheer in the battle. Provided you are actually making headway, there seems little to be miserable about. The sun is out, life's enjoyable. Tarken and Emily [sister] built a turtle/duck/goldfish pond out by the barbecue which is going to be converted to a fountain. Even the people up in the hematology ward, can get a laugh at the suggestion of using cycolphosphamide as a disciplinary process for recalcitrant 185 cm young men - one of the nurses was describing her attempts to induce good behavior in her large son.

We only know Tarken is unwell because a piece of paper says so. And of course because of the reaction to the CHOP.

Meanwhile, Globalstar is on hold until Feb. I guess it went out in sympathy. A couple of weeks ago I dreamed I was in a large building with a rocket taking off. Boy are they loud!! Yes, I know rockets don't take off from inside buildings, but in my dreams they seem to. Normally one wouldn't be standing only 20 metres from it either.

Anyway, it was up about 20 metres when it started dropping back down under full thrust. There was a massive hole in the floor for it to fall into, but I figured that there would be a significant explosion so started making my way in a disorderly scramble out-a-there.

As is common, one's consciousness intercedes at times like that and the normal 3D world rescued me.

Another night I dreamed I had a book, hardcover, leather bound, with "How to Sell Monoclonal Antibodies" inscribed on the cover. Also that I was reading a book about all the biology jargon - I was most impressed when I realized I must have been making it up since it was just a dream. Annoying that I recall nothing about it though - maybe it was the dinkum oil on how to cure NHL.

Since Globalstar has always been representative of human aspirations for me - not simply a way to make money, you can see what my subconscious is doing.

You'll have to fill the void in the Globalstar stakes since I'm now a biotech fan. I still say Globalstar had better get some lessons "How to sell Globalstar Minutes!" if they want to be competitive, have happy customers and maximize profits. That means they better figure out how to include auction software in the handsets for half the subscribers. "CURRENT PRICE IS ....."

Regards,
Maurice
