President Barack Obama, the greatest man in the history of the world

LOS ANGELES, April 1, 2013 — Barack Obama is more than the greatest President in the history of the United States; he is the greatest man in the history of the world. After millenia of darkness, he did what Jesus Christ could not: He showed us what it means to be created in the image of God.

Enough April Fool’s Day nonsense. Obama is a joke, and we are its sorry butt. The joke isn’t funny.

While millions of Americans celebrated Easter and Passover, Obama took time out of his “busy” day to celebrate Barack Obama.

Chris Matthews called Obama “the perfect man,” but at some point some serious questions must be asked of the man who the media still thinks created God in Obama’s image.

Forget perfect. Is Barack Obama even good?

Pope Francis is a good man. He has dedicated his life to helping the poor, giving up the trappings of power. Obama pursued raw power, he revels in its trappings, and he started hurting people the moment he assumed it.

Barack Obama allowed four Americans to be murdered in Benghazi, Libya. His administration is still covering up the truth. Seven Benghazi survivors are being kept from the public, while an innocent film-maker sits in jail. Obama is his administration; their mistakes are his. Nobody has been held accountable. While Ambassador Stevens and a pair of Navy SEALs were being murdered by Islamists, Obama was going to bed early and partying in Las Vegas the next day.

Barack Obama allowed an American border guard to be murdered due to a “Fast and Furious” gunrunning operation that was created and botched by his administration. His Attorney General Eric Holder was asked who authorized the operation and still refuses to answer the question.

Barack Obama forced a healthcare plan on an American public that never wanted it. He insisted that premiums would decrease and people could keep their own doctors. He cooked the books, and now the bill is coming due. Premiums are skyrocketing and people are losing coverage they liked. The program is a failure and only going to get worse.

Barack Obama has presided over record food and fuel prices. He claims inflation is low by removing food and fuel from the inflation calculation.

Barack Obama claims unemployment is down. He removes those who have given up all hope of finding work from the calculation. People are hurting everywhere because Barack Obama cares more about trees and bunny rabbits than human beings desperate for jobs. After years of dithering on the Keystone Pipeline, he still has not been forced to answer the simple question of whether he is for or against it. He pontificates on Mount Olympus while citizens starve.

Barack Obama uses tragedies committed by crazed psychopaths to confiscate guns from ordinary citizens in violation of the Second Amendment. Meanwhile, murder rates skyrocket in his home city of Chicago due to the very failed liberal policies he wants to impose on the rest of us.

Barack Obama created a sequester, signed it into law, and then blamed Republicans for it, claiming he never wanted it to begin with and never dreamed that the law had consequences. He claims that programs are being “cut,” although actually nothing is being cut at all. There is a slowing of the rate of growth, which is an increase in spending. Rather than level with the American people, he decided to deliberately inflict pain on ordinary citizens in the hopes they would rise up against Republicans.

Barack Obama canceled tours of the White House, then sent his daughters on any kid’s dream spring break, at a taxpayer cost that would keep those tours going for months. He threatened to lay off FAA traffic controllers and airport security, yet found billions to spend on fraudulent green energy programs. He found millions more to give to Islamist terrorist groups including the Muslim Brotherhood, which seeks to turn Egypt into a Sharia theocracy, obliterate Israel, and spread the Caliphate.

Barack Obama is more than a disaster in action. He is also a disaster of inaction.

Syrian leader Bashar Assad is murdering his own citizens. Obama has no answers.

Iranian leader Mahmoud Ahmadinejad is building a nuclear bomb to annihilate the world and bring about the Twelfth Imam. Obama has no answers.

Barack Obama hides a complete lack of ability and and demonstrates a badly flawed code of ethics by accusing his critics of being racist, sexist, bigoted homophobes. A master of “divide and conquer,” he pits Americans against each other, race against race, rich against poor, young against old. He calls wasteful spending “investments,” then derides real investors and job creators as selfish “millionaires and billionaires,” parasites on America.

April Fool’s Day is upon us, and the joke is that Obama is still regarded by some deniers of reality as “the perfect man.”

Barack Obama is a failure as a President. And as a human being? Good people do good deeds. They help people. They care about whether people live or die. They take responsibility for their failures and spread around credit for their successes. None of that describes Obama. His failure extends beyond politics, reflecting a deeper taint on his character.

Barack Obama has been treated as a symbol of race and of hope, turned into a totem of liberal America. But he is not a race, he is not the personification of hope, he is not a holy talisman.

His promise of hope and change is an illusion, the dream is a lie. He is a hopeless case of failed liberal status quo.

For four years Obama has bullied anybody who dared question him or disagree with him. Now it is time for ordinary Americans to finally treat him the way he treats them. Obama is unworthy of veneration; he is worthy only of contempt.

Now if only the April fools in the media would do their jobs and demand that he do his. The emperor has no clothes, the symbol is a joke.

Yet none of us should be laughing.

Barack Obama’s model is Nero. He gives us bread and circuses, then fiddles while the world burns. Stopping his agenda will take time. Calling him out for who and what he is starts right now.

No more April Fools.

Poet Maya Angelou Blasts Gun at Home Intruder

April 03, 2013
nation.foxnews.com

Obama supporter and famous poet Maya Angelou was asked by Time Magazine if she had ever fired a gun in her life.

Her answer was surprising — “Of course!” Angelou then recounted a time in which she fired upon a home intruder.

TRANSCRIPT:

TIME: Your mother — she was your protector. She often carried a gun, she seemed to be very fond of guns. Did you inherit your mother’s fondness for guns?

MAYA ANGELOU: Well, I do like to have guns around, I don’t like to carry them. But I like -- if somebody is going to come into my house and I have not put out the welcome mat, I want to stop them.

TIME: Have you ever fired a weapon?

ANGELOU: Of course!

TIME: At a person?

ANGELOU: I’ve fired it period, not at a person I hope!

I was in my house in North Carolina. It was fall. I heard someone walking on the leaves. And somebody actually turned the knob. So I said, "Stand four feet back because I'm going to shoot now!" Boom! Boom! The police came by and said, "Ms. Angelou, the shots came from inside the house." I said, "Well, I don't know how that happened."

50 Years Later: The Legacy of USS Thresher

A child’s drawing of a lost submarine rests behind Plexiglas in a back corner of the National Museum of the Navy in Washington, D.C., seemingly out of place amid massive ship models and aircraft dangling from the ceiling.

“USS Thresher/ Bruce Harvey/ crayon,” reads its art-museum-style description. “The young son of Commander John Harvey, skipper of Thresher, drew the boat on the ocean floor after hearing of its loss. Bruce’s father and 128 other men died when the submarine sank off the New England coast.”

Thresher (SSN-593), at the time the Navy’s fastest and most powerful submarine, represented a leap forward in the Cold War fight against the Soviets. When she put to sea for the last time in April 1963, she represented the bleeding edge of undersea warfare.

“This was just incredible technology,” Bruce Harvey told USNI News in a recent telephone interview. “These guys were the first. . . . It was just like the astronaut program, if you were there the first five years, you saw something different from what everybody else saw.”

Bruce’s father, Lt. Cmdr. John Harvey, was part of that elite community. The elder Harvey served in the first nuclear boat, USS Nautilus (SSN-571), on her 1958 polar expedition.

Nautilus proved to the world—and the Soviets—that the only limit to the range of a nuclear submarine was the amount of food the crew needed.

Thresher was designed to be better.

Thresher was the fastest, deepest diving, most capable submarine in the word,” Rear Adm. David Duryea, Naval Sea Systems Command’s, deputy commander for undersea warfare told USNI News in a recent interview. “This was the pride of the U.S. Navy.”

On 9 April 1963, Thresher put to sea to conduct a series of sea trials following an overhaul accompanied by USS Skylark (ASR-20), a Penguin-class submarine rescue ship, according to the 1975 book The Thresher Disaster.

The next morning, Thresher descended to 1,000 feet in a deep-diving test.
Forty-six minutes after reaching test depth, things began to go very wrong.

Thresher suffered a mechanical failure and Harvey’s attempts to bring the boat to the surface failed.

Four minutes after Skylark learned there were problems, Thresher sent her last garbled transmission, “exceeding test depth.” One minute later Skylark detected a noise that shared the characteristics of an implosion.

The next day, Navy officials announced the ship was lost.

Workers at the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard, where Thresher was built, took the loss of the boat hard, Vice Adm. Kevin McCoy, commander of Naval Sea Systems Command and former commander of the Portsmouth yard, told USNI News.

He heard a story from former Portsmouth Mayor Eileen Foley, who was at the yard the day workers received word of the loss.

“She talked about how people came together in the center of the shipyard. Nobody said ‘go home.’ It was eerily quiet and everyone just went home. They couldn’t deal with knowing that the work that was done at the yard might have had something to do with the loss of the Thresher,” McCoy said. “We now know it was fundamental design issues. It wasn’t anything that anyone in the yard had done.”

By June of 1963, the Navy had adopted a new set of standards for submarine design and construction called SUBSAFE. The rigorous sets of standards tightened the design, manufacture, and maintenance of submarines. The Navy hasn’t lost a single sub constructed under the program. From 1915 to 1963 the service had lost 16 boats to non-combat-related causes.

“Having met hundreds of Thresher family members, they all say the same thing: ‘Don’t ever let this happen again’,”
McCoy said.

Still, 50 years after the institution of SUBSAFE and countless investigations later, the details of Thresher’s sinking are still fodder for debates over matters such as valves or metal fatigue—and also provide fuel for conspiracy theories.

For Bruce Harvey, the truth is much simpler.

“We didn’t think too much about why. We knew that something happened to the submarine and it sank,” he said. “We knew that our father wasn’t coming home again.”

TRAITOR Jane Fonda waits FORTY Years to "apologize"

Jane Fonda: I Will Go to My Grave with 'Unforgivable Mistake'

Wednesday, 03 Apr 2013 By Greg Richter

“I made one unforgivable mistake when I was in North Vietnam, and I will go to my grave with this,” Jane Fonda says on the Oprah Winfrey Network.

The actress and activist made an infamous trip to North Vietnam in 1972 in which she was photographed singing with North Vietnamese military members as she sat on an anti-aircraft gun.

She was criticized then — and ever since — and says she understands the anger.

Fonda said she knew immediately that she had made a mistake and has apologized repeatedly [THAT'S A LIE], both privately and publicly.

She told OWN program “Oprah’s Master Class” that the event happened on the last day of her visit. She was tired, she said, and didn’t want to attend [THAT'S A LIE].

"I don't know if I was set up or not,” she said. “I was an adult. I take responsibility for my actions."

The soldiers sang a song and Fonda joined in with her “feeble Vietnamese.”

As everyone was laughing and singing, Fonda was led to a gun site, where she sat down.

“And I was laughing and clapping, and there were pictures taken."

As she walked away, Fonda says she suddenly realized that the pictures would be seen in the United States — and they would not look good.

“There were no planes, the gun was not operable. It didn’t matter. This is an image that belied everything that I was [THAT'S A LIE],” Fonda said.

The visit earned Fonda the nickname "Hanoi Jane," particularly among U.S. veterans, who were outraged by photos of the young actress.

In 1988, Fonda met with a group of Vietnam veterans in a church basement in Connecticut while making a film there. She said that while not everyone at the meeting became “fond of Fonda,” there was healing.

“What I learned,” she said, “we have to listen to each other, even when we don’t agree, even when we think we hate each other. We have to listen to each other’s narratives, not interrupt defensively or with hostility, but really try to open our hearts and listen with empathy.”
