>> He TRIPLED our National Debt.

He also ended the Cold War, brought down the Berlin Wall,

So did Carter, Nixon, Johnson, Kennedy, Eisenhower and Truman.

and created the greatest economic expansion in modern times.

He did? LOL.

It was Reagan who caused the increases in deficit spending, which resulted in the national debt to start growing after declining for 35 years. It was Reagan who favored the wealthy and promoted the growth in the income disparity that exists between the classes and is causing class tensions in the 21st century. It was Reagan who created the trickle down economic theory that has been proven to be a huge myth. To add insult to injury, his economic policies and lack of regulatory controls led to the savings and loan debacle in the late 80s.

And don't get me started on some of the non economic negatives created under Reagan..........like stopping funding for major hospitals and institutions, resulting in the release of hundreds of thousands of patients into the streets and creating a sizable homeless population or his anti civil rts campaigns disguised as a states' rights positioning. And the worst part...........we don't know how alert and coherent he was in his second term.

In fact, Reagan was a terrible president and you need to do a better job at picking your heroes.
