ArtieM:

My take on his news was simply that 'yes' good things are happening in Venezuela .. there were a few negative reports about this area. Well things can't be too bad if the car companies are happy .. remember the thought .. "so goes the car industry, so goes the economy" .. it's true enough, when the car industry is in trouble, we are all affected, from steel to rubber to oil & on it goes. So this might be a very good sign from the region. That's my take on it.

No need to be suspicious of me. I have no agenda. I'm just trying to learn as much as I can about Venezuela. Frankly, all I get is mostly bad news (but nothing directly related to the lottery or Noram). That little news report indicates to me that people in V-land are generally poor. Is this of any concern at all to shareholders?

Just because I'm a shareholder doesn't mean I'm only allowed to post good news and hype. I'm just trying to find things to discuss. It's still not clear to me how big the market is in Venezuela for Noram's services. Since we're not collecting any revenue yet, we don't know what the market really is. It seems some Venezuelans are buying cars. Did they pay cash or borrow money from Chrysler? Is it just the top 5% of the population buying cars?

I'm finding it extremely difficult to find out any concrete information about certain aspects of Noram's operations in Venezuela, mostly because it just hasn't panned out yet, so I'm fishing around for whatever I can.

I'm sorry if my posts bother you. My "intent" is to spark conversation instead of just sitting around waiting for MR BIGAIR to say something. If I have serious questions to ask, I will. I'm never afraid of looking at the possible downside risk here. We all know what the possibilities for gain is. A good INVESTOR always knows the downside risk and is not blinded by the hype.

I saw a brief article that says Venezuelans are poor. So I ask myself "do the Venezuelans have enough money to gamble?" You'll probably say that there's this huge underground illegal lottery already happening there. The legal lottery is doing well. Well, what's the source of this information and how do we know people will spend more money on the legal lottery instead of staying with the underground?

I think we'll know a year from now how well Noram's machines will attract customers. Past history in the U.S. says they will be a big hit. We'll see.

By the way, as I announced earlier this week, I bought additional shares today and this past tuesday. I plan to continue buying shares every week until the real move up begins which I expect to be sometime in Q1 '98. Perhaps it won't move much until May when Q1 results are given.

By the way, if you're urked by tough questions, wait until you hear some real analysts and brokers chime in during the conference call this coming monday. People don't spend other people's money without asking hard questions.
