I would love ASND to decline the 35 offer and put the street in fear and confusion not to short it any more and all the shorts run for cover. The street will be tolatty confused if ASND declines the offer. Any price below 40 is just stealing ASND and ASND should stick to it. After ASND stabilizes at 35 with shorts not wanting to touch it with a 10 ft pole, ASND has the potential to recover purely by earinngs to 45+ , if they meet or exceed this quarter number. A bidding war to 50 is very welcome for this naughty boy.

Chi-X on Dec 4 1997 7:55PM EST Roger, of course Cisco may be another company interested in ASND. I noticed that while ASND was rising, CSCO was falling during the takeover rumors this afternoon. Maybe some thought that CSCO may be the aquirer. Heck, I'll pick up some shares and wait out till $40 like ASND seems to be doing. In advance: I hate bashing people, but I knew you were a Fool over a year ago.
