It sounds like what you have in mind for bitcoin is simply a medium for instantaneous barter. Ok. Is that such a little thing? What one person desires will always have a relative value compared to something they have in excess. My redesign of bitcoin which actually depends on the existing programming model and which reminds me of Turing machine definiteness would be independent of comparison(same thing as conversion). You don't want the exchange medium to have variable value...only the items or services bought or sold. Correct. That has been exceedingly difficult to achieve through all known currencies.
