Agree.
Well, being the eternal optimist, I feel confident you can be here 50 years from now if you choose... Digital immortality will be here b-4 you know it (brain dump) and physical not to far from then.. ;) So...

In a Ben B's speech circa 2009, he stated 'desperate times will require desperate measures'. A collapsing USD would be game over for the global econ for a long time..as nearly 1/3 of global GDP is directly and indirectly tied to the US econ. They will not let that happen. More likely a phase out is in the works but that too will take time... so... My guess would be the USD will be around a lot longer than many suggest...

Black swans aside... I can envision a situation where gold, USD and global econ all appreciate in unison... This is the likely scenario...

Despite all the doom and gloomers still calling for a end to the West (USA) (12 years later), a slow and steady transition is what I am betting on... and hope occurs.

I have considered DUST for a few days but figured how much lower can gold stocks go. I finally bought this morning . My plan is to exit today. Maybe this marks the bottom -vbg- I remain a strong believer in the bullish case for gold longer term but if the powers that be are intent on driving the shares lower I might as well join them.
