Dundee, Thanks for the offer but Winter in the Sierra foothills is no place for this Phoenix boy. Under 40 degrees is like the North Pole to me. The Sacramento airport is in the NW part of the city, probably 2 hours from Grass Valley.

If you're staying in Grass Valley there is a real nice historic hotel called the Holbrooke. Rates are competitive. If you mention you are here to do business with Brush Creek Mining you can get the business rate. Decent continental breakfast, too. The National Hotel is also a historic hotel in Nevada City. Haven't been there.

The Grass Valley and Nevada City Chamber of Commerce has a web site.

Can't wait for the first hand reports. Good luck. Don't forget to bring your hard hat.
