That is good news. I've been hearing and reading more and more that housing starts are improving. That to me is a very good sign as it feeds into the pipeline for housing in general and is important for a good foundational economic recovery. Check out the correlation of housing starts with the inverted unemployment chart. Shows the high correlation and shows improvement in both.

My two hopes are the housing continues to recover and the US has an energy boom. If we get both of those, then we can overcome the mistakes the Fed and Congress are making. That's our window of opportunity. If those two things don't help enough, then we'll reap what the Fed is sowing in a very malignant way. I hope that doesn't happen.
