The 200 MA is currently rising slightly at just under 7. It would be very important for PTIS to hold this 6 3/4 - 7 area. Breaking here would be a short to medium term negative with 5 1/2-6 area next support. It is possible that we bottomed Friday. I expect earnings very soon and perhaps this will be the catalyst to move higher off the 200 MA. The 50 MA is now declining and would stop any upward movement around 9 - 9 1/2. It is more important though that we hold in here and see some volume on a bounce up. If that happens then it would only take a short period of back and fill trading around the 50 MA to have it bottom and we could be back on our way up. This type of action will most likely take place in the first quarter. Keep your fingers crossed on the earnings. By the way, PTIS is acting like 100's if not 1,000's of other secondary growth issues on the NASD where all the action is in the big capitalized issues. Most are pulling back on low volume with little buying in these issues by the institutions. The first quarter should change this as the institutions start looking for depressed secondary issues with good fundamentals. A waiting period.
What a Country!

Hi Greg,
I bought on fundamentals at 9 1/2 and watched it go to 11+ and had a target price to sell of 14. Obviously never got there. The news is still good, I saw a report a few days ago that PTIS was the only etching company invited to a computer conference which bodes well for contracts and earnings. Since it was a short term hold for me though I am not too happy holding it long term as I have ended up doing!
Not willing to part with it at a loss because it is a strong company IMHO.
