The process of the lionization of Reagan starting in the mid-'90s is pretty fascinating, actually. Purposefully creating a myth right in front of our eyes. The left has done that to a certain extent with Clinton (I personally feel like he was pretty mediocre, but that's not how we remember him), but nothing like that. Given Reagan's true legacy, its remarkable how much adoration is thrown his way. I think that will change now that the GOP propaganda machine is broken. So many untruths are having to be unwound.
