Excuse me. What could it have incorporated? A scud and other theater ballistic missiles are relatively slow compared to an ICBM. It has a different flight profile and numerous other differences. A closer analog would be an airplane, which is what the system was originally designed for.
Given that it was developed at Redstone Arsenal, it is a lot more likely it used Safeguard technology and not SDI. And even that is not very likely.
