another forgotten fact was Carter cancelled the neutron bomb which would have rendered the soviet union neutered in Europe, while Reagan restarted the program

wonder how another democrat president today is selling us out to our enemies now that he has "more flexibility" ?

So because conservatives made a joke, that means it's true?

(NEWSER) – Last month, North Korea threatened to hit the US with a pre-emptive nuclear strike. (It even had a video of what it might look like.) Today, Pyongyang managed to up the ante. The North Korean army warned that it had been given the green light to launch said strike against America, reports AFP and al-Jazeera. "The moment of explosion is approaching fast," said the military statement, adding that it could happen "today or tomorrow."

The announcement came just after the US said it was moving an advanced missile-defense system to Guam to protect US bases in the Pacific, with defense chief Chuck Hagel saying the Pentagon had no choice but to take the North's rhetoric seriously. In its own statement, Pyongyang promised to use "cutting-edge smaller, lighter and diversified nuclear strike means." One hopeful note: Reuters reports that the North is years away from "significant atom bomb material," even if it fires up its dormant reactor as quickly as possible.

By supporting the US military and maintaining this country's political and military stance when it came to the Soviets.
Uh, yeah.

When the USS Jimmy Carter was christened back in 2004, the joke was that this was the first of a new class of "appeaser submarine" that would immediately surrender to the UN. It was also going to be solar-powered and feature brand new screen doors.

Your criticisms not withstanding, Carter continued to maintain the US military and its policies with regards to Soviet during his presidency. So then, my argument still stands.......Mr. Carter contributed to the demise of the Soviet Union.

Fox host Don Imus: Jesus might have been gay

By Eric W. Dolan
Wednesday, April 3, 2013 18:00 EDT

Fox Business host Don Imus on Wednesday awkwardly informed his guest, Fox News political analyst Kirsten Powers, that Jesus of Nazareth might have been gay.

Imus claimed that a 3rd-century religious text known as the “Gospel of Judas Iscariot” provided some evidence that the man Christian’s revere as the son of God was a homosexual.

“You know there’s a Gospel of Judas floating around,” Imus said. “There were hundreds of gospels written, only four made it into the [Bible]. There was the Gospel of Thomas, Mary had a gospel, they all had a gospel. But Judas — there’s some indication there that Jesus may have been gay.”

“Oh, come on,” Powers responded.

“I didn’t write it,’ Imus replied. “Don’t be shooting the messenger here.”

It is unclear why Imus thinks the Gospel of Judas portrayed Jesus as gay. A text known as the “Secret Gospel of Mark” described Jesus performing initiation rituals that appear to involve homosexual acts, but the document is likely a forgery created in the 20th century.
