I did not catch as much of today's hearing as I would have liked. My daughter called me to help walk through her income tax, so first things first. What I did hear of it was totally concerning the adversary proceedings on the ORRI and NPI stuff. Isgur still seems to be inclined to making them financing transactions and Diamond is squealing like a stuck pig and shouting Louisiana law!! It will be interesting. Until that is settled, you have a half billion of the estate that is of unclear ownership. Yeah, I would not bid on that either except for perhaps a lowball that said that assumed the ORRI and NPI remained in place. If Isgur kills these ORRIs and NPIs for ATPG, it will have severe ramifications for many other companies. Stay tuned.
