despite a common sentiment that peaking short interest is bullish, a study done at MIT produced results demonstrating the opposite. The study revealed that such stocks often had fundamental weakness and that stock prices often reflected poor performance for up to 2 years. I'll find the link and post it. I can't vouch for the accuracy of the study or the realiability of its findings. I'm long coms but trying to make some sense of the present situation for future reference.
