Look at what the Republicans DO, not what they SAY. Again, I agree with more than 90% of what they SAY.

<you would not say that if you lived outside your country senior, I promise you, you would not like anywhere. I lived in San Diego for short times, maybe you never left america maybe?>

You imply, I guess, that because I am not Republican, that I want to leave America? I don't know where you got that idea. I am a Mayflower descendant four times over (at least), like many old New England families. I'm not leaving.

"...the true patriotism, the only rational patriotism, is loyalty to the Nation all the time, loyalty to the government when it deserves it." - Mark Twain

House roll call on Gramm-Leech-Bliley (repealing Glass Steagall): 57 no votes; 51 Democrats, 5 Republicans

Senate roll call on GLB: 8 no votes; 7 Democrat, 1 Republican

House roll call on 2006 extension of Patriot Act: 138 no votes; 124 Democrat, 13 Republican

Senate roll call on 2006 extension of Patriot Act: 10 no votes; all Democrat

House role call on 2011 extension of Patriot Act: 153 no votes; 122 Democrats opposed, 31 GOP. By extending the measures through June 1, 2015, lawmakers codified a compromise with Republican leaders who preferred a permanent extension.

Senate role call on 2011 extension of Patriot Act: 23 no votes; 18 Democrat., 4 GOP Four Republicans.

I agree with you Kit,

I lived and have traveled outside this country in my younger days and I still have memories of how things were back then, I dont think they've changed much in the larger scope of things.

When people are threatening or disregarding our constitution in a way they make it seem they are above it or want to change or eliminate it, ... tells me its time to draw a line and protect what I've learned to love since I've been in America. I took the Oath, ... I am not a naturally born citizen, ... maybe that's my difference to why I fear this administration, I know how the others in less freer countries live!

Good to have you aboard, ... is Andra still with is, ? maybe I need to send him an email, can you give him a YELL, your closer! lol.

Kitarea -- We need to hear voices from all sides of the political spectrum, and this is one of the few forums where everyone is allowed to responsibly express their opinion. PulpCutter has enlivened this board with challenging information that obviously runs counter to the general thinking here.

In America, this is a prized gift of free speech. To say pulp may be "hurting many here that want to learn stock TA" just doesn't make sense. If you really believe his posts are somehow interfering with your ability to learn TA, then you might consider using the "ignore" button so that you won't feel so held back by his opposing comments.

One of the great things about this board is that our moderator, James, has provided an open forum for all of us to say what we genuinely feel about anything -- as long as we don't attack others on a personal basis and/or become overly obnoxious in our language.

I'm glad you're here, Kiterea -- please feel free to post your thoughts more regularly -- we certainly understand and appreciate that English is not your first language.
