Menendez is likely a crook just like the Senator he replaced. Toricelli.

Target apologizes for 'manatee' label on plus-size dress

Eun Kyung Kim TODAY contributor

Target says it’s treating a potentially offensive goof in product labeling as a “learning experience" it won't repeat.

A savvy online shopper on Wednesday noticed Target.com listed a plus-size dress in “manatee gray” while offering the same frock in standard sizes as “dark heather gray.”

Susan Clemens tweeted the discrepancy to Target, which responded quickly with an apology.

[iframe width="500" height="211" title="Embedded Tweet" class="twitter-tweet twitter-tweet-rendered" id="twitter-widget-0" frameborder="0" scrolling="no" style="border-width: 1px; border-style: solid; border-color: rgb(238, 238, 238) rgb(221, 221, 221) rgb(187, 187, 187); margin: 10px 0px; border-radius: 10px; display: block; min-width: 220px; max-width: 99%; box-shadow: 0px 1px 3px rgba(0,0,0,0.15);" allowtransparency="true"][/iframe]
On Thursday, Target spokeswoman Jessica Deede called the incident an “unintended oversight.”

“We never want to offend any of our guests. We apologize for any discomfort that we may have caused,” she told TODAY.com.

Twitter user Susan Clemens posted this screengrab of the dress from Target's website.

The “manatee gray” version of the dress in question, Mossimo Women's Plus-Size Kimono Maxi Dress, no longer appears on Target’s website.

“We are in the process of fixing the discrepancy and updating Target.com so the gray dress will be available in all styles," Deede said. "We’re working on updating our systems right now.”

Deede noted that the color “manatee gray” is a seasonal color found on many products across numerous categories on the company website, including towels, rain boots and T-shirts.

“We’ll use this instance as a learning experience so we can do better moving forward,” Deede said.

Kenny...."What happened to the story about Menendez? It appears that story has imploded - like this one will implode"....

Kenny, how much of a problem do you think it would be for Hussein Obama thugs...democratic party members....to silence a couple of underage girls? Remember fast and furious obamas gun running and how the left media refused to tell the story? How about benghazi where 4 Americans were murdered and the leftie Obama media refused to print it... you are just as sick as the worst of them because you flaunt all these cover ups with the glee that only a democrat/commie/socialist could take pleasure in doing.

I still wonder what happened to Andrew Briebart......... over stressed I suppose?

Senator Bob Menendez, Sex Parties and Underage Hookers

March 23rd, 2013 ·
by Jeff Davis
us.altermedia.info

An article on Breitbart reports “While the mainstream English-speaking media remain asleep at the switch in the Sen. Bob Menendez (D-NJ) prostitution scandal, Univision took the opportunity to grill Menendez over reports about the scandal. Reporter Lourdes Meluza asked Menendez about his ‘position regarding the accusations made by The Daily Caller and others that say that you went to the Dominican Republic and attended parties at Casa de Campo where prostitutes were present, minors, even. Could you reiterate your position and respond to this please?’ Menendez’s answer was a repeat of his ‘vast right wing conspiracy’ nonsense….”

The Daily Caller reports: “Documents published online for the first time Thursday indicate that the FBI opened an inquiry into New Jersey Democratic Sen. Bob Menendez on August 1, 2012, focusing on repeated trips he took to the Dominican Republic with longtime campaign contributor and Miami eye doctor Salomon Melgen. The DC reported in November that Menendez purchased the service of prostitutes in that Caribbean nation at a series of alcohol-fueled sex parties.”

“Information made available…at that time included allegations that some of Menendez’s prostitutes were as young as 16. The source also alleged that Sen. Menendez was taking non-authorized trips to the Dominican Republic, suggesting that he may have been evading Senate Ethics committee rules covering disclosures when third parties pay for a senator’s travel.”

The Daily Caller quotes a source as saying: “‘I have in my possession the original written in her own hand… She’s 19 now, but took part in private parties with Senator Menendez being only 16.’”

So why is this not banner headlines all over the web? Could Mr. Mendendez being a Democrat have anything to do with it? After all, if you’re going to practice sleaze in any form, it helps to be a member of the ruling party in a one-party state. Can you imagine what would have happened if this guy were a Republican? Actually, you don’t have to imagine. Just think about Senator Larry Craig’s speedy fall.

Chevy Volt Sales Plunge – Obama’s Flagship EV a Failure
Submitted by Mark Modica

Obama and VoltThe Chevy Volt has inarguably been the poster child for President Obama's push to electrify America's auto fleet. Billions of taxpayer dollars have been spent to produce and subsidize the plug-in electric car. For years we have heard about the supposedly amazing technology for the Volt which would lead America to energy independence, be a "game-changer" for General Motors and provide a multitude of new green jobs. Proclamations were made that supply for the wonder-car could not keep up with the demand. Well, March's sales figures are in and give further confirmation that the lofty claims were all lies.

March's sales for the Chevy Volt plunged over 35% from last year to a paltry 1,478 units. To put that in perspective, that's about one Volt sold every two months per dealership. The number is also down from an only slightly less paltry 1,626 sales in February. GM's excuses for the poor performance seem to be drying up as quickly as the demand for the Volt. During GM's sales conference call, management claimed that sales are "stable" and that they are "feeling good about the trend." Such dishonesty brings into question GM's credibility.

In the past, GM claimed that lack of supply was the reason for low Volt sales. In addition, GM indignantly blamed a Republican conspiracy to hurt Volt sales as a contributing factor to the dismal sales figures for the car. Regarding supply, a recent search on cars.com showed that 6,804 new Chevy Volts are available nationwide. That's about a five months supply! The problem is obviously a lack of demand as GM produced 2,722 Volts in March; over a thousand more than needed.

GM and the Obama Administration have done what they can to prop up sales of the Volt and give the false appearance of success. Lease terms were manipulated to manufacture demand, as GM even admitted. Crony Corporation General Electric (supplier of charging stations) agreed to purchase 15,000 of the vehicles. Localities, and even the military, used taxpayer dollars to purchase Volts. And worst of all, wealthy buyers of the Volt receive a federal tax credit of $7,500 each to purchase (or lease) the vehicles.

So, now we have one more indicator that the Chevy Volt hype has all been a farce. Yet there is still no admission nor is there any accountability for the hoax that cost taxpayers billions of dollars. The lie lives on as few will criticize the politically-sensitive green failure. The Congressional Budget Office reported that electric vehicle subsidies will cost taxpayers about $7.5 billion over a few years for little benefit. Nissan and Toyota have admitted that lithium-ion based, plug-in electric cars are not a viable alternative to gas-powered vehicles. Still, the folly continues.

GM has doubled down on the failed technology of the Volt, now offering a plug-in Chevy Spark while working on plug-in Chevy Cruzes and Cadillacs. The business strategy seems to be politically-driven, since there is no economic reason to pursue a technology that has been a proven failure in the free market, despite taxpayer subsidization. Billions of taxpayer dollars will continue to be lost on a green pipe dream which has no logical basis. When will it be time to say that enough is enough?
