Yep totally agree. Thinking we need drastic FDR era type initiatives, honorable jobs programs getting folks off welfare. Cut the legs off the robber barons like the mafia would do. Probably ain't happening soon as the next bust will be blamed on Obama so we might double down on Reaganomics after 3.5 decades of it...good lord

The attempts of the NRA to prevent background checks on criminals, and their thugish tactics to try to scare elected representatives into blocking a vote on background checks for criminals, has to be one of the most disgraceful, cynical and shameful acts in the history of this country. I hope all NRA members experience this as a wakeup call and abandon the NRA -- the only people the NRA still represents is their own overpaid lobbyists.
