I agree with you there. There is nothing natural about our economy. It is such a manipulated farce that it is completely unnatural. What is natural is when market participants want to buy and sell things and they decide what the prices are between them and they use a medium of exchange that holds its value and they can trust. That is what is natural. That's a free market. Our market is anything but free and natural. It is quite plainly a house of cards that is teetering.

What we have in the US is modern day Feudalism and the Feudal Lord who decides who gets what is Bernanke. Right now, he's decided to impost the largest tax in history on the 99% to prop up the 1% and their companies, otherwise known as banks. Our Feudal Lords and Masters now want more, because a little bit of your money is never enough. So they are going to use Cyprus as a template for here. They saw how distasteful Corzine's outright theft was, but they protected him anyway. In the future, they will find a more opaque way to steal people's money and protect their own. Cyprus seems like the right ticket. I hope you enjoy the fruits of what we've all sown in deciding we wouldn't fight against the monetary and economic tyranny we're currently experiencing. When the juice is withdrawn and the facade comes down, then you'll see the full horror of what they've wrought. It looks at lot like Weimar.

RW,
do you understand why this chart is important? If more and more people are not working, then that's less gov't revenues and more expenditures. That means higher deficits and debt and lower growth and a vicious cycle.
