I still don't get why you continue to be so exercised over the NP matter. There are lots of things that doctors do that don't require that much education. Doctors clean the wax out of people's ears, for heaven's sake. I don't see how you could justify paying a premium to have a doctor do it rather than an NP. We shouldn't authorize NP's to perform procedures that require greater qualifications but, for those that don't, it doesn't seem right to pay them less than someone over-qualified.
