AS FINANCIAL ADVISOR 17:32 EST Wednesday, April 22, 1998 Canada NewsWire TORONTO, April 22 /CNW/ - Speedware Corporation Inc. today announced that it expects to report a second quarter loss of between $1.4 million and $1.8 million for the period ended March 31, 1998 which may be compared with the second quarter loss of $371,000 in the 1997 fiscal period. The Company's first quarter gain in Fiscal 1998 was $18,000 and therefore the Company anticipates a loss of between $1.4 million and $1.8 million for the six month period in Fiscal 1998 which may be compared to a net loss of $768,000 for the corresponding six-month period in fiscal 1997.
