ed, it's not worth arguing ON ANY THREAD WHETHER AMD OR CYRX IS BETTER
or whether it's 1.8 v or 3.3 volts or whatever.
it's a waste of time / evey amd and cyrx chip made is
sold..
I think all the intel chips are sold out too.

Re -- AMD vs Intel chips..

Nobody is arguing about the merits of AMD vs Intel chips.

CPQ's use of these chips is sub-1000 pc's at the end of life of that particular generation speaks for itself. Furthermore, AMD's chips which CPQ is palming off, has not had the wide exposure and maturity of use in the marketplace which pentium's do.

Thus the point that CPQ's "sub-1000 pc's" are of lower quality than DELL's "sub-1000" pcs.
