[TXN est cuts]

Steve:

How does a 3.5% estimate cut for 1998 translate into a nearly 40 percent fall in the stock price? Granted, 23 times a 98 estimate of $3.00 may have been generous, but assuming 99 is an up year ($3.40 to $3.60 maybe?), how can this stock be expensive at $45? DRAM is not dead permanently.

Regards

There analysis seems more favorable than M.L. for 1998 @2.90 per share vs 2.00 to2.50 .Maybe they did not see something Kurlak did or they have a more favorable outlook for dram and DSP.
