The fools can't see that it is money pumping whether the core money is utilized or not, causes the deflation they're presumably trying to address."

From wiki
The early 1980s recession was a severe recession in the United States which began in July 1981 and ended in November 1982.[2][3] The primary cause of the recession was a contractionary monetary policy established by the Federal Reserve System to control high inflation.[4] In the wake of the 1973 oil crisis and the 1979 energy crisis, stagflation began to afflict the economy of the United States.

the eighties prices were much lower than now.

Tech has allowed product price to decrease perhaps that can be termed as some sort of cost control that acts as deflation. However the service end and cost of delivery is total inflation. Us average wage in 1980 somewhere around $8 now it is $23

When gov has debt you have to have inflation so that debt can be serviced. You cannot service debt with deflation.

You're post isn't "ot". It's "ont".

They call it, "thinking out of the box". Iconoclastic thinking is crucial to innovation. We spend most of our time forming habits of thinking because it's easy. It's hard to break out of the habits, but that's what must be done to solve problems. Else, we're stuck in the degeneration caused by myths which come from pervasive bad habit.
