Only in the form of guerrilla warfare. And the only way they can win is if their opponent gives up and goes home. In the meantime, they kill a lot of people. Against gun control? Only in your fevered imaginations... Sorry TIm. Look it up. And when handguns are used, it is with high capacity magazines. Rarely shotguns are in the mix. It makes sense, such things are designed to kill a lot of people in a short period of time. The arument that other things can be used ignores the fact that those things aren't used where such guns aren't available. So that is a stupid argument. As to criminals, well other than the mass murdering kind, they tend to favor revolvers. More reliable and they don't see a need to fire hundreds of rounds unless it is a gang hit on another gang...
