Luck certainly has a lot to do with it. However, I'v noticed that, when it comes to snaps, some people a much luckier than others. I think my grandson may have the mojo. His dad started giving him a Canon pocket digital camera to play with in full auto at about 4 years old. Of course there were a lot of throw aways, but there were a surprising number of artsy keeper, too. Here in this series of keepers, the boy was in stealth mode with his camera, capturing shots that caught his fancy, starting with a nice self portrait.

Nah! As they say, Art is in the eyes of the beholder.

That is for sure! The interesting part is that mucho people like things I shoot that make me yawn and lots of things I like make them yawn. Part is familiarity... I've taken so many shots of Charlie, 1000's it's hard to stay impressed.

This is a series of an Osprey with a fish... sort of a yawn for me but people liked it. (I hate that 2 and 3 are slightly out of focus).
