100% agree on your thoughts on the H1B visa program. I've said it a million times to my friends that we should not even put a limit on H1B visas for workers who got their education here and we should open the door wide for skilled foreign workers. Why we don't do that is a mystery to me. I suspect its that the stupid and uneducated in the US put a lot of political pressure on Congress saying that they'll be out of a job if we do those things. The fact of the matter is that's not true. Many Americans simply aren't qualified for the tech jobs that are available. If they'd stop taking Art History classes and start taking science, math, and computer classes, maybe they would be.

That's what I tell my kids. I'll finance their education as far as they want to go, but it has to be for education that will get them a job or improve their standing in the chosen career path. No bullshit degrees. Leave the liberal arts bullshit to the 1% elite that Obama is giving all the money in this country to.
