I had thrown it out on the thread a couple days ago (with regard to the drop in price of just about all the major networkers except Cisco). I had mentioned that with CPQ's cash hoard, they could probably buy COMS if they wanted to. I believe Steve had replied that ASND might be a better choice. I would also add BAY if they were interested in the enterprise space, but who knows? If CPQ is after better margins then BAY/ASND might be the place. I don't know how it integrates with their PC strategy, and it would take management's eye off the PC ball to some extent, so I guess we will see what happens. John
