Jean: I haven't been in the fund all year. And I haven't been a bear until late summer. We've had this conversation before, I think.

Today analyst at Bear Stearns down grades stock. Now did BS warn clients, or is their analyst just so stupid that after the stock cracks 15 points, he no longer likes it??????

Listen, you. Either tell us something useful or go back to your vanity table and primp.

To others on thread: the last time this person put in an appearance he said something to Bonnie that would get many of us fired from our jobs for sexual harassment. I wish I could keep my composure when in the presence of ...well, better not say.

It may have been on the Kahuna thread; at that point some of us moved over here partly (at least in my case) to escape that person and to listen to intelligent conversation.

Jean, you're right you're no rocket scientist. Did it ever occur to you that Bonnie bought Bearx at the S&P high near 980? I recall she posted this publicly at the time of purchase not one of those after the fact position disclosures. Mike

Jean, if I am not mistaken, BEARX is mainly designed to be a hedge, not as a prime investment vehicle. And, many use it as a market timing tool for the IRA's. Given the fact that S&P was up over 30% since last Dec, it is a great achievement to keep it down only 8%. Don't compatre BEARX to I think you have to compare apples to apples.
Welcome to our world. Don't worry, we rag bulls the group and treat Jean the bull with due respect.
