I would like to recommend WDC share holders to jump unto Quantum at any rebound. WD is headed nowhere in the 6 months where as Quantum will be headed higher. I am in the business and DLT will take Quantum out of the hole that SEG and WDC dragged it into. I think all of you can make your money back and profit if you sell WDC and pick up Quantum.

Even if you do not please make a note of this and check to see where you would have been 6 months from now.

Craig, you are 100% correct. I just checked the Sept 23 PC Magazine issue and they all used IBM Ultra ATA drives. Hmmmm. Now when they actually ship those machines, do they use IBMs or QNTMs? In some cases, I have heard of manufacturers trying to tilt the reviews by including relatively expensive stuff like Seagate 10k rpm Cheetahs to make their machines much faster.

Someone posted a review in Home PC or some other consumer magazine showing the top 20 selling PCs ... most were using QNTM drives. I'm going to try to get some more information about which drives are used with different machines.

I just posted a list of all the PCs mentioned in three reviews through PC Magazine.
