We'll have to see if these Adduplex-based projections have any value in estimating sales. I suspect that new users have a tendency to download apps many times more than old users, such that their Adduplex footprint is inflated relative to older users. In my experience, I only regularly use one third party Windows Phone app anymore, although I must have at least 50 downloaded from my more exploratory days. it does happen to be ad-supported (although not sure if it's adduplex).

I will say that Nokiapoweruser's method of adding up every WP sale cummulatively, and assuming that to be the current install base of Windows Phone users has got to be an overestimate. Certainly, there are phones that have been retired or replaced over the years, repeat customers, etc.
