Anytime is a good time to invest in a company that you like. Whether you buy one share or 50, you should stand to do well over the long term investing in any strong company. How the market reacts to Fords announced plan to spin off its 80.7% interest in AFS once it is finalized? I don't know. My opinion is that AFS will continue its 80-year tradition of providing superior customer service. As a result, we should see a continued increase in shareholder equity over the long term.
