I have never understood why anyone would use AOL.

Here's the way to do it: find the small computer stores in your town, the places that will build a PC for you. Drop in and ask the fellow for advice on choosing an ISP. Then just sign up with the very first place they mention.

It's easy. Forget the 2nd and 3rd places they mention. Just go with the first.

I had a little ISP that gave perfect service. Then I moved and got Pacific Bell. They drop my connection every hour or so.... So I checked around and will get a reliable local ISP.
