Z,
It's not a double-standard. Is all debt bad? Is all debt equal?
When it comes to fiscal matters, debt is debt. Doesn't matter if YOU think it's good or bad. It continues to grow at an unmanageable pace.

Nothing in your post even hints at any appreciation for how serious the deficit and the debt is. Just more bleeding heart nonsense. This is in stark contrast to your reactions when Bush raised the deficit to $400B in the middle of the last decade.

That's your double-standard.

Same with John Fowler, who bemoaned the "credit card economy" that we lived in. Guess what he's doing now? Praising Obama for saving the economy, even though this "credit card economy" is now 3X as big.

Too bad I can't point that out to him. He has me on Ignore. Inconvenient truths seem to tick him off.
