Clinton,
Re -- but why have I seen more of Dell on TV than any representative of Intel?

Check the number of times in the past year that Michael Dell has appeared on CNBC/CNN Lou Dobbs and check the number of times,
A representative of Intel has appeared, it will surprise you.

My perception is that Intel appears more times, is the most widely held stock, is the most widely traded stock around.

Also count the number of times Intel gets mentioned on CNBC and the number of times DELL does, it will also surprise you.

Anyway enough on this topic.

Clinton Re "Behind the scenes they may be working with the institutions and analysts"

I've been saying for quite some time that the IR should be improved
for the retail investor.

Right now I think we are all agreed that there is reduced "need" for a high-powered PC.

The technology enthusiast who will buy because he "wants"
becomes a relatively more important buyer for high-powered PCs.

If the stock price is killing the enthusiast he is less likely to
buy. Since INTCs stock price affects the whole tech sector
IMO most if not all tech entusisasts are in a bad position now.

I think at this point in time managing the stock price is
materially important to the business of the company and
quite possibly is worth the attention of the CEO.
