Please.. I'm not trying to attack Trimble's business plans. Charlie
has done a phenomenal job in growing the company. What I was saying
was that Wall Street (investors) don't give a damn about anything
other than shareholder equity. It's managements job to improve
equity and survive the process.

Wall Street tends to punish markets for individual company
performance. Since Trimble was the only GPS pure play for quite
a while (no longer pure) all GPS companies have been measured
against them. They haven't performed.. as far as the shareholder
is concerned. So all GPS companies have suffered. Ashtech has
been profitable at least since Boesenberg took over (1994,
according to Orbital release).. can Trimble make that claim?
