The Ron Paul group celebrates the vampire Ayn Rand and selfishness. Because they understand neither. But beyound that, Rand and Ron Paul are very weak thinkers (and a litttle nuts), like the rest of the right wing and so get most things wrong. If one thinks of the right wing as like a bunch of high school kids, their thinking makes perfect sense e.g. look at Palin. She acts like a mean 11th grader. Look at the clown car of Republican nominees last year. The whole reason Romney was nominated is even the RWers could see none of them had enough sense to be president.
