Inode, the only argument against voter ID cards or other forms of good voter registration is that it's somehow racist.

From Steven Greenhut, formerly of the OCRegister and a man I have had the privilege of meeting at one time:

"People DO vote multiple times, or vote when they're ineligible, or votes aren't counted when they should be."

A. There are only very few, a miniscule number of these cases. Not enough to create a problem, except in the paranoid Republican mind.

B. No election has EVER been decided by such. EVER.

C. Disenfranchisement and voter discouragement by Republicans has a MUCH larger effect.
