Fido, OT*** Etrade -- This might be cleared up but just wanted to post E*trade's policy from their web page to be fair.

"Multiple Executions of a Single Order
If your order is bought (or sold) in more than one trading block, you are only charged a single commission, unless the order is executed over more than one day. If the order is executed over two or more days, a commission will be charged for each day an execution occurs."
