seems reasonable but estimates for 2009 earnings were also 90s and they came in around 13 if I recall... plus nothing magic about 15 multiple but agree 20 could be a top. hard to use the past as low rates would justify higher multiple but low rates are artificial. gobmints/ central banks may be telling us "fixed income" is no longer fixed... it is a depreciating asset due to QEn->infinity so "use it or lose it" may be printed on our money someday...
