[off subject of IDX but on cigars]

Heard on the radio the other day about a guy who was just too smart. This is supposed to be a true story or the radio station stated that it is true. Be that as it may, a cigar lover ( like the ones on this SI thread) bought a box of rare cigars for $15,000. He next insured them against "fires" without specifying what kind of fire. Before the first premium was paid, the man smoked all 24 cigars and headed for the insurance company and made a claim for the cigars citing "24 separate incidences of controlled fires". The insurance company refused and the man took the company to court. The judge settles the litigation and informed the insurance company that they must pay. The reluctant insurance company made a check out for $15,000 and gave it to the man who promptly cashed the check. The insurance company immediately arrests the man and charges him with 24 separate counts of arson. Later, the man was sentenced to 24 years...one for each cigar.
Must have been one great box of cigars. Only if he would have bought IDX stocks, he would be ecstatic that it is finally moving up instead of wondering about his dubious new "friends". <g>

Wendell,

I'm so surprised at your hostile attitude about those who short Identix.

These scummers provide a great sevice to the marketplace by balancing out the hype, don't they?

We should salute them with a big "thank you"..........as they are about to add about three points to this run. It is very cool. The future is such that there will be little reason for most to take any profits......and the shorts will stumble upon our list of possible "really big news" and realize that there will be no chance to catch a breath anytime soon.

I believe it is becoming clear that those who follow this thread and pay attention here....are, in fact, ahead of the Street.

These are, of course, happy thoughts.........for my AOL fans.
