The second amendment is one that must be questioned because it doesn't make good sense and has led to a violent nation with over 300 million weapons, little controls and tragic massacres that occur all too frequently.
I see the sense in the 2nd amendment. The right to defend oneself using weapons is key to individual liberty.

Without the 2nd amendment, Americans still have considerable individual liberty.

I can understand why you think the 2nd amendment has led to 300M weapons out on the street, but it doesn't work that way. Many countries that ban weapons still have huge problems of violence, like Mexico.

And that violence is fueled by Mexican drug cartels buying guns in the US. Thanks for making my point.

None of your fact-twisting and misinterpretations are going to help in trying to reduce gun violence. I support most of the legislation being passed today to increase regulations and ban certain types of weapons, but it's not because I need to B.S. my way around the 2nd amendment like you do.

I am not BSing my way around the 2nd amendment? Its a badly worded amendment.........that has led to considerable ambiguity..........and at its simplest interpretation, doesn't play a positive role in 21st America.
